What is ARMS?

The UConn Center for Advancing Research, Methods, and Scholarship in Gun Injury Prevention (ARMS) is an interdisciplinary research center that facilitates high quality, original gun injury and violence prevention scholarship.

  • We are committed to ensuring the dissemination and translation of evidence-based research.

  • We seek to find formal mechanisms to disseminate evidence-based policy research. 

  • We pursue partnerships with communities to ensure research is responsive to the needs of all groups.
