The UConn Center for Advancing Research, Methods, and Scholarship in Gun Injury Prevention (ARMS) is an interdisciplinary research center that facilitates high quality, original gun injury and violence prevention scholarship.

ARMS Leadership
Director
Kerri M. Raissian is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut.
Associate Director
Jennifer Necci Dineen is an Associate Professor in Residence in the School of Public Policy at the University of Connecticut.

Research Technician
Cassandra Devaney is a Research Technician with ARMS.
Quantitative Graduate Assistant
Meng Song is the Quantitative Graduate Assistant for ARMS. Meng is also a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Connecticut. His primary research interests are applied microeconomics with a focus on labor economics, health economics, and the economics of education. Alongside his doctoral studies, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science.
Outreach & Events Coordinator
Marc Massicotte is the Outreach and Events Coordinator for ARMS. He is also an MBA Candidate in the School of Business at the University of Connecticut and serves as a part-time Groton Long Point police officer.
